Summary
Matt Calder, released from jail, returns to the Northwest to find his son. Trying to establish a peaceful life as a farmer, he has a violent encounter with gambler Harry Weston who leaves to file a mining claim, abandoning his girlfriend. Calder is forced to take his son and the woman down the perilous river, past rampaging Indians
